AboutThe Marrambidya Wetland is a stunning 20-hectare preserve located alongside the Murrumbidgee River, only a few minutes from the Wagga Wagga city centre. The wetland highlights a Wiradjuri Healing Place with natural vegetation, a seating area, and a hand-carved totem pole. Marrambidya Wetland is a beautiful wetland reserve with various ponds, walking tracks & an elevated viewing platform. It provides an ideal location for primary and secondary school groups to connect the classroom with the local environment and community. The Marrambidya Wetland provides a habitat for migratory and non-migratory birds, water insects, frogs, fish, reptiles and mammals such as the locally threatened Squirrel Glider.
