| About | Brimbank Park is a state park located in the region of Melbourne. As a part of Maribyrnong Valley Park, it was opened in 1976. The park provides many sheltered picnic areas, gas grills, picnic benches, and playgrounds. The park has a network of cycling and walking paths and self-guided walking trails. The Birds were frequently seen in the park, including blue wrens, yellow-tailed thornbills, parrots and galahs, flame robins, and several aquatic birds. The trail begins at the park and parallels the tree-lined river to Footscray for 25 km. There are large spaces for activities and shelters for picnics if needed. Brimbank Park is a great place for family gatherings with plenty of BBQ's areas. |
