| About | Kate Reed State Recreation Area is a wooded nature reserve with extensive mountain-biking tracks for all skill levels. The reserve boasts a network of popular mountain bike trails in Tasmania. With 120 hectares of native vegetation, including eucalyptus of various kinds and other threatened flora, this reserve and its 15 kilometres worth of trails. Kate Reed State Recreation Area has recognised the potential of the reserve's tracks and has become the dominant user. It features various eucalypts and many small, threatened plant species. Running, walking, and dog walking are other actions commonly undertaken in reserve. Dogs are allowed, which should be kept on-lead at all times. |
