| About | Woowookarung Regional Park is a famous 641-hectare park in Ballarat by the people, for the people. It is a perfect place for bushwalking, trail running and cycling. The informal network of tracks is surrounded by Messmate Stringybark, Grass Trees, and native heath. Take your dog for a hike (on lead) to scenic lookouts, or ride your horse through the previous state forest and plantation. Visitors can see kangaroos, echidnas, bird species, and colourful wildflowers. Keen mountain bikers can discover two existing trails located behind Mount Clear College. Woowookarung Regional Park provides accessible recreational trail networks and visitor sites to allow people to explore and experience the park. |
